Vincent Waters is an enthusiastic, up and coming artist based in Hamilton, Ontario. Being musically active from a very young age, and with more than a decade of recording and performing experience, Vince draws his inspiration from a variety of musical styles; from Classic Rock, Jazz, Classical, R&B, and Funk. He received the award for Arts and Music upon graduating from St Jean de Brebeuf secondary school for his participation in many school functions, productions, choir, and extra curricular activities.
In April of 2011 Vince completed the 4 year Jazz Performance Applied Music program, at Mohawk College, under the guidance of drummer Kevin Dempsey. He also had the great privilege of performing with the Mohawk College Big Band, and studied big band arranging during the 2010-2011 school year, both under the leadership of the late Dave McMurdo.
Less than a year after graduation from Mohawk College, Vincent was hired by Carnival Cruise Lines as a showband musician, where he set off on his first adventure out of Galveston, TX, cruising around the Gulf of Mexico. Not only has he had the opportunity to play with many great musicians, but his time with Carnival has allowed Vince to travel and perform all around the Caribbean. Currently, Vince is based out of Sydney, Australia, and working around the South Pacific Ocean.
With many aspirations and goals for his future, Vince plans to take his education to the next level so that he may enjoy a successful career in performing, recording, and teaching.
